I saw him on the street today
He said i was looking better than ever
He smiled at me that same old way
While we talked about work and the weather
If i was shaking he sure couldn't tell
If my heart was breaking i hid it real well

I don't let my feelings show he doesn't even have a clue

Too soon there wasn't much to say
I checked my watch and said guess i'll be going
He touched me but i turned away
