This DVD-video concert is a conceptual thing. A VERY thing! Famous FROMUZ line-up + some famous local singers + some musicians with etnic instruments...

Represents the recording of the shows run in Tashkent in between 22 and 26 of September 2004. Concerts were organized by the ZIP TOP Co. Besides, the show was shot on a video. The promo clip and video version of the concert are based on the shot materials. Vladimir's art fans are awaiting for another present - GFN-LIVE, CD released under the label of ZIP TOP. The year of 2004 had become very fruitful for Vladimir. There was dual creative process - rehearsals/concerts and studio work. The GFN CD was released on October 15, 2004 under the label of UN. As the "coincidence" at the same time there had happened a number of live concerts of GFN in Vladimir's home country. "All the compositions are nonstandard, due to the difficulty to determine the style. Hope, we've created interesting music", - Vladimir has spoken. Only professionals participated in the project. Most of them mature, relatively experienced in concerts and studio recording. But for few it has become first serious work in their career.

Line-up:
Vladimir Badirov - drums, percussion, programming
Vitaly Popeloff - guitars
Nasiba Abdullaeva - vocal
Adkhamjon Ismailov - sato ( violin ), tanbour, ud ( traditionnal Uzbek instrument )
Kamil Mominov - kushnai ( traditionnal Uzbek instrument )
Fahriddin Djamilov - karnai ( traditionnal Uzbek instrument )
Hairulla Yusupov - karnai ( traditionnal Uzbek instrument )
Gafur Norbaev - nai ( flute )
Otabek Ismonaliev - klarnet
Muzaffar Sufihodjaev - keyboards, programming
Batir Ahmedov - bass
Asif Yakub-Ogly Kafarov - tabla
Sobir Muhammadiev - percussion

Badirov writes about that video at his own site:
The idea of that project had happened somewhere at the beginning of 2002. As another attempt to combine harmony and originality of traditional Uzbek instruments with modern rhythms and sounds. Given Mix is a result of that.

But passion for the esoteric literature had preceded that, and it made some change in my inward life. I began to realize more clearly all the frailty of human life, relativity of Universe organization as a whole, and events occurred, clearly realized my responsibility for the words and acts, the Future, and the Super Mind...

But most important, in what I was firmly convinced, it is the infinity of abilities of the Man, boundless of his self-perfection.

Such a state of mind dominated over me during working on this project. Therefore selection of musicians for recording of my album was far from being randomly. The most different people participated in it, which are unified only by love to the music and aspiration to play it well.

Among them there are my close friends Aleks and Vitaly - guitarists, absolutely different not only by style and manner of playing, but also by their characters. And peculiarities of each of them have introduced special energy and vision of the world in the album.

Also many years' friendship connects me and Ravshan - the interesting person and singer. His voice in the album sounds as original improvisation on the themes of Nusret Ali-Khan, which passionate admirer he remains.

Another friend of mine - Batyr, who played the contrabass, and bass-guitarist Vadim, Aleks's brother, could not remain unnoticed.

Folklore musicians have created ethnic color for the album sounding. The special place among them is occupied by Toir - the man living in the music, inseparable from it. In his hands the traditional music instruments - sato, ud, tanbur - sound heavenly, capable to transfer all scale, all variety and subtleties of human soul. With a reason his technique of playing is highly appreciated not only in the East, but also worldwide.

One more virtuoso made me happy by participation in the our project. That is Gafur playing the national flute nai. He has understood my ideas so quickly and profoundly, that recording in the studio was not a work, but more like a music ecstasy.

A place for the young musicians - Nodir, Olim, Otabek - was found in my project also. For them participation in the album recording became not only first experience in a serious work, but also, I hope, a starting platform to the world of great music.

And the recording or, rather, experiments with recording, were carried out in the studio of Igor Minich - subtle and talented man capable to listen and to hear, which is quite a lot. He and his assistants - Dima, Vasily, Maya - have established at the studio such creative, friendly and comfortable atmosphere, that during the work there was an insuperable desire to continue cooperation in the future. Moreover, now we consider opportunity to bring our experiment onto the stage and to create bright and original show.

Some people consider me as an author of "Greeting from Nostradamus". But without many of my friends and colleagues, this project, in the form it exists now, would be impossible. And for sure, there are still a lot of thoughts, ideas, creative undertakings in our arsenal. Our potential is far from being exhausted, and we are ready, I would even say - we aspire as much as possible auditory to be acquainted with our works, to with people that positive, what was born in our hearts..
